Winged Foot Title, Fort Myers' Closing Home Loan Service, is having a lunch-and-learn seminar to teach real estate agents what they need to know about short sales.
FORT MYERS, FL, February 20, 2010 /Florida PR News/ -- Winged Foot Title, Fort Myers' Closing Home Loan Service, is holding a lunch-and-learn seminar called "Short Sale Learn Phrases to Help Realtors Get, Keep and Close More Short Sales." The seminar will be held on March 9, 2010.
It is designed to teach real estate brokers and listing agents everything they need to know about short sales. The presentation will answer many common questions and concerns including:
* Whether the bank can come after home sellers after the short sale
* The effect a short sale has on consumers' credit ratings
* Whether sellers will receive a 1099 tax form after the short sale
* The costs involved in short sales and whether sellers need to bring money to the closing
* Signing promissory notes
This short sale lunch-and-learn will introduce listing agents to the issues and questions their clients will likely have when considering a short sale of their homes. Agents will learn to answer these questions professionally in a way that will increase clients' confidence in their agents at handling short sales. The seminar will also guide them in deciding whether their clients should conduct a short sale on their home or not and whether it makes business sense for agents to take certain short sale listings.
