Wingspan Seminars' CEO Selected to Chair Women's Business Council
Bill Diggs, Miami-Dade Chamber of Commerce President, Appoints Priscilla Dames to Chair the Women's Business Council.
MIAMI, FL, February 07, 2011 /Florida PR News/ -- Wingspan CEO, Educator, Activist, and Nationally Certified Crisis Trainer Priscilla Dames has been appointed Chairperson of the Women's Business Council by Bill Diggs, President of the Miami-Dade Chamber.
The Women's Business Council has been in effect since 2004, tackling the issues that affect the women business owner. The council hosts seminars, workshops and events that address executive and corporate leaders' empowerment to intimate C.H.A.Ts for mentoring. Ms. Dames' leadership will focus on collaborating for success and global outreach. The idea of pairing and grouping for event planning and trying new innovations even with competitors can lead to an increased rate of productivity and increased visibility. The global outreach has a twofold focus; expanding women's businesses to global markets and connecting with women's issues worldwide.

About The Women's Business Council
As a committee within the 500+ member Miami-Dade Chamber, the Women's Business Council is a new program aimed at involving more women in the Chamber. This group of women will tackle issues that affect the women business owner.
The intent is to host seminars, workshops and events on a quarterly basis. All of the various events and topics will be decided and hosted by women. This organizational group of women will act as ambassadors of the Chamber. Their role will be to grow this program to include as many women business owners as possible. They will also play an integral part in the overall fundraising efforts of the Chamber.
