The law requires that states have exchanges operational by January 1, 2014.

McCorvie served as executive director of the Orlando and Jacksonville Community Health Purchasing Alliances (CHPA) in the mid to late '90s and knows firsthand the impact market forces can have on the success of the program. In addition to McCorvie, senior management includes CIO Ray West, COO Steve Bell and CFO Mark Coleman, all of whom have over ten years of benefit administration experience.
