Bluegreen Corporation Welcomes ARDA President and CEO to its Corporate Headquarters
Members of Bluegreen Corporation welcomed the President and CEO of ARDA to discuss the impact of technology upon the timeshare industry.
BOCA RATON, FL, May 06, 2011 /Florida PR News/ -- Bluegreen Corporation (NYSE: BXG), a leading provider of Colorful Places to Live and Play, today announced it welcomed a visit from Howard C. Nusbaum, President and CEO of the American Resort Development Association (ARDA) on Thursday April 7, 2011. The visit happened shortly after Bluegreen was awarded three Gold and 15 Silver ARDA awards during the 2011 ARDA Ceremony.
ARDA is a Washington D.C.- based trade association that represents the vacation ownership and resort development industries. The organization holds nearly 1,000 corporate members that range from privately held firms to publicly traded corporations. ARDA seeks to promote the growth and development of the timeshare industry through a variety of means, including advocacy, networking B2B partnerships and bridge-building, outreach projects and professional development.
Many of the corporation's executives were there to meet with Nusbaum, including John Maloney, President and CEO of Bluegreen Corporation and David Pontius, Executive Vice President and Chief Strategy Officer of Bluegreen Corporation.
