New Dog Park at Winthrop Village Celebrates Grand Opening

Tails will be wagging in Winthrop Village on Saturday, May 14th as the Taylor Morrison community at 6141 Hadley Commons Drive in Riverview celebrates the grand opening of its new dog park.
SARASOTA, FL, May 12, 2011 /Florida PR News/ -- Tails will be wagging in Winthrop Village on Saturday, May 14th as the Taylor Morrison community at 6141 Hadley Commons Drive in Riverview celebrates the grand opening of its new dog park. There will be plenty of refreshments for people and their pets as well as complimentary photos. Dogs will be able to roam the half-acre fenced park with open grassy areas to run and play, while their owners socialize around benches, picnic tables and water fountains. Prizes will be awarded for a variety of fun contests, including: Best Dressed, Best Mirror Image (dog/owner look-alike), Most Adorable, Terrific Pet Tricks, Most Obedient, Best Vocal Performance (by a dog), Best Tail Wagging, and Biggest & Smallest.
The fun begins at 10 a.m. and lasts until noon. The dog park is open during daylight hours to residents of Winthrop Village, a Taylor Morrison community featuring a Traditional Neighborhood Design which includes white picket fences, pedestrian-friendly streets, and convenient retail establishments within walking distance of the community.
