Registration Now Open For Florida's First Livestrong Event
Livelong Benefiting Livestrong - Walk, Run or Ride on Saturday, October 1 and Sunday, October 2 at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach
FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, July 14, 2011 /Florida PR News/ -- Don't miss the opportunity to participate in the first major Livestrong event in Florida. Registration is now open for the Livelong Benefiting Livestrong event on Saturday, October 1 and on National Livestrong Day, Sunday, October 2 at Gulfstream Park and Casino in Hallandale Beach, Florida. The event is sponsored by Omnicom's Zimmerman Advertising and presented by Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital.
Participants can register at www.livelonglivestrong.org to walk, run or ride in the fight against cancer. Event schedule is set to include:
Saturday, October 1 - ½ Marathon USATF run, 5K USATF run, 5K walk and family bike ride
Sunday, October 2 - National Livestrong Day - 10.2, 31 or 62 mile bike ride
Fundraising minimums vary per event activity.
