Lori Rodgers, President of Bert Rodgers Schools is marking 50 years of success in real estate education by underwriting learning opportunities for 50 SPARCC clients who are interested in a career as a real estate sales associate.
SARASOTA, FL, August 28, 2011 /Florida PR News/ -- Experts agree that one of the keys to a victim moving beyond domestic violence is self-sufficiency. Recognizing this, Lori Rodgers, President of Bert Rodgers Schools and a long-time supporter of Sarasota's Safe Place & Rape Crisis Center (SPARCC) is marking 50 years of success in real estate education by underwriting learning opportunities for 50 SPARCC clients who are interested in a career as a real estate sales associate.
"For more than five decades, we've provided real estate professionals with essential industry course work. With SPARCC at the focus of Bert Rodgers Schools' charitable efforts, it seemed logical to take things a step further by offering hands-on support that will directly impact the future of SPARCC's clients", said Lori. "It's an appropriate way for us to celebrate our 50th anniversary".
Bert Rodgers Schools will offer 50 online Sales Associate Premium Packages to SPARCC clients. The package includes all the tools necessary to enable a student to receive a Florida Sales Associate real estate license. Bert Rodgers Schools will provide an orientation program presented to prospective students by faculty members, text books and course study materials, as well as underwriting the state license application and testing fees for each student. Total value to each student is $415. The school will provide step-by-step instructions for those interested in taking the course, including information on student requirements for obtaining the license.

SPARCC's mission is to provide services to victims of domestic and sexual violence, and to promote a violence free community through awareness and education. Safe Place and Rape Crisis Center, Inc. (SPARCC) is a non-profit agency and is the only state-certified center for domestic violence and sexual assault services for Sarasota and DeSoto Counties. All of SPARCC's services are free and confidential. In addition to serving victims, SPARCC is actively engaged in promoting social change through community awareness and education. SPARCC serves its clients through an Outreach Center in downtown Sarasota, satellite offices in south Sarasota and DeSoto Counties, a shelter operating 24 hours a day/365 days a year and at the local courthouses.
