Martial Arts Community Fights Illiteracy And Helps Support Education With Back to School Supply Drive.
Adrian Ellis, owner of IKA with support of local businesses & Martial Arts Schools in the community bring this event to the community. Supporting US Armed Forces and other Charity Groups with School Supply Donations.
WINTER PARK, FL, August 05, 2011 /Florida PR News/ -- International Karate Academy will be hosting this event on August 21, 2011 starting at 11am to 3pm, all in an effort to raise much needed back to school supplies for children in need. Several other Martial Arts Schools throughout Seminole and Orange County will also be participating by giving Martial Arts demonstrations. Through the event children will enjoy the wonders of stilt walkers, face painting, Star Wars characters, a bounce house, slides, balloons and free food! Anyone interested in participating in this wonderful event would be welcome with open arms. We're asking all participants and spectators for the Martial Arts event to please bring any school supply to donate for the cause. Local community leaders will be invited to this event; there are also sponsors like Infinity Protection Service, a local security company, AT&T and others.
The event will be held at the Goldenrod Recreation Center, located at 4863 N. Goldenrod Road Orlando, FL 32792
