LAKELAND, FL, December 03, 2011 /Florida PR News/ -- Emerald Technology Partners would like to introduce the fossil fuel free Wedway Refrigeration Power System . This Patent Pending device is able to power semi-trailer reefer systems using kinetic energy while in motion, at the same time charging batteries that allow the system to run eight to twelve hours while the vehicle is stopped. For longer stops, the device can plug into provided shore power allowing it to run and charge the system.
Emerald Technology Partners displayed the working prototype at the Great American Truck Show at the Dallas event in August of this year with great success. Since then we have teamed up with the second largest university in the nation, the University of Central Florida (Center for Advanced Turbines and Energy Research) and are in the process of building the full scale device with the intention of field testing in ten different markets around the country. Initial estimates of fiscal savings reach into the tens of BILLIONS annually in the US, and carbon output reduction of sixty three Billion pounds per year.
