Local Cafe to Send Bags of Coffee to Deployed Troops for Holidays
Cafe Kili Searches for Sponsors to Help Provide Coffee for our Troops
LUTZ, FL, December 04, 2011 /Florida PR News/ -- With the holiday season in full effect, Cafe Kili wants to ensure that people remember our deployed troops this year. Until Dec. 19, Cafe Kili is accepting coffee sponsorships to send coffee to overseas troops more than 7,000 miles away. This is the second year in a row the coffee shop will provide coffee to the troops.
Coffee is one of the most requested food items for our troops. For only $6, you can sponsor a 12 oz bag of coffee beans. "We were able to send nearly 40 bags of coffee to our troops last year. Our goal is to double that number this holiday season. This is a great way to show patriotism and gratitude. Providing them with coffee is a way to thank them for their sacrifice," said Patrick Gachau, Co-owner of Cafe Kili. "Our goal is to support our troops as long as there is a need and we would like to invite the public to join us."

Cafe Kili is a dream come true for Rose Waruinge, a professional nurse by trade; she relocated with her family to the Tampa Bay area over 10 years ago from her native Kenya. Rose is the daughter of a Kenyan coffee farmer and that experience has provided her with a wealth of coffee experience and expertise. With the support of her husband, Patrick Gachau and their sons, Cafe Kili opened their Temple Terrace location more than four years ago.
